The problem

When your company gets to 20–50 employees, legal work can quietly become a second job for your leadership team.

Sales needs customer terms agreed; operations needs to onboard suppliers; finance needs approvals; the board needs decisions documented. Without a dedicated legal function, founders and senior leadership spend hours chasing updates, re-explaining the business to advisers and deciding what must move next. Deals slow down while fragmented work consumes the time meant for growth.

02

The company’s position is fragmented

Different terms are agreed with different customers and suppliers. Without playbooks, fallback positions and approvals, the next negotiation starts from scratch.

How our clear processes help

03

The bill is hard to predict

Hourly matters and vague retainers make spend difficult to plan. A short email becomes a 20-minute billing entry rather than a quick step towards a decision.

How we help you avoid surprises

The Covrig Counsel Model

Not another place to send legal tasks. A legal function that gets stronger the more work it does for you.

We combine corporate, commercial and regulatory expertise with a clear way of working: email us your requests, see the priorities, and keep agreed contract positions, decisions and regular reporting in one place. We do the legal work and retain the context, so the next matter starts from a stronger position.

Legal services in the age of artificial intelligence

Legal AI provides the speed. Covrig Counsel provides judgment, consistency and responsibility.

Legal AI can research, draft and summarise, but it cannot set your company’s risk position, negotiate the bargain or make sure a decision is carried through. We use suitable leading technology to work efficiently and pass that benefit on to you by covering more legal work for the same set fee. A qualified lawyer checks the work, and agreed positions and decisions are recorded for future reference.

Relevant experience

Built on experience at Fnality, developing blockchain-based financial-market infrastructure.

Mihai Covrig is a solicitor of England and Wales with more than six years’ in-house legal experience at Fnality. His legal work has spanned institutional customer and supplier contracts, governance, financing and coordination of regulatory and cross-border advice in a demanding commercial environment. Working alongside product, commercial and leadership teams gave him first-hand understanding of how financial-market technology is built and sold to institutional clients. He connects contractual risk to the technology, delivery obligations and commercial decisions behind it.
